ICT Enclosures and Manholes

Manholes are indispensable elements in any ICT project. They facilitate access to cables and connectors, and therefore maintenance and repair work.
We have different manholes depending on the part of the network they access. Check our ICT Guide to check the minimum dimensions required.

We explain the differences between RTR, Secondary, and Fiber Optic Registers:

Terminal Enclosures

The function of the RTR is to separate the user's network from the community network.
This ICT cabinet is located inside each house.
It collects in its interior the necessary elements to provide network connection to each user (User Access Point PAU).
See Terminal Enclosures

Secondary Enclosures

The secondary registers allow us to organize the cables of the secondary network of the building.
They are used at the meeting points between the main and secondary distribution network. They are generally used:

- At the points of derivation to each house. 1 manhole for 2 houses.

- At each change of direction or bifurcation of the main piping.

- At each 30 meter section of the main pipeline.
See Secondary Enclosures

Fiber Optic Enclosures

The fiber optic register is an element that is used in buildings or groups of buildings in order to allow the transmission of high speed and high quality signals through fiber optics.
allow the transmission of high speed and high quality signals through optical fiber.
This register is installed in the power supply network (cable distribution that collects the signal from the telephone exchange and distributes it in the building).

Manholes and Covers

A manhole is a small tank used to receive, link and distribute subway conduits or ducts;
They are usually buried and have a lid on the top to be able to register them and clean the inside of impurities.

- Manhole 400x400x600 for up to 20 user accesses.

- Manhole 600x 600x 800 for between 21 and 100 user access points.

- Chest 800x700x820 for more than 100 user access points.
