DVR Recorders
Hybrid DVR recorders are a versatile solution for managing and storing recordings from CCTV cameras using various technologies.
This option is perfect for gradually upgrading older analog systems, allowing the transition to new technologies without replacing all cameras at once.
These hybrid recorders are compatible with multiple protocols, such as AHD, HDTVI and HDCVI, as well as analog signals, which makes them suitable for working with all types of cameras: hybrid and digital, analog and even in some cases IP cameras. The connection between them is directly using a BNC connector and coaxial cable, which ensures an efficient video transmission. Hybrid DVRs store video in digital format and high resolution, optimizing the storage space. Many of them offer the possibility of remote viewing through internet connection, using a mobile app.
Additionally, most DVR recorders available on the market today are 5-in-1 models and include an RJ45 port. This allows you to integrate a certain number of IP cameras, connecting them to the network and managing them together with one unique system.

Tips for purchasing Hybrid Recorders
- Check the resolution of the recorder and cameras
Make sure that the recorder you choose has a resolution equal to or higher than that of the cameras of the CCTV circuit.
- Count with enough connection ports
It is essential to choose a recorder with an appropiate number of ports for the amount of cameras you plan to install. We recommend choosing one with extra ports in case we want to expand the installation in the future.
- Choose the right hard drive
The recorders do not include a hard drive.
They are sold separately so you must decide the size of the hard drive you want to install. The higher the capacity, more hours of video you'll be able to save. Access our section of hard drives for CCTV recorders.
