This device is a very compact reflectometer that fits in the palm of your hand and will help you perform optical time domain measurements, OTDR, VFL, OPM. This reflectometer tests the integrity of a fiber cable and is used to build, certify, maintain and troubleshoot fiber optic systems.

Como reflectómetro óptico en el dominio del tiempo (OTDR) puede realizar medidas entre 0.1 y 80 km de distancia utilizando la longitud de onda 1550nm, permitiendo localizar fallos de fusión, ubicación de conectores y pigtails, pérdidas del cable y roturas de fibra, gracias a la luz reflejada que regresa al OTDR. El OTDR registra el tiempo que tarda la luz en volver reflejada y tambián la intensidad de la misma, permitiendo al instalador identificar la ubicación y la naturaleza de la discontinuidad.
As an optical power meter(OPM), it has 6 wavelengths(850-1300-1310-1490-1550-1625nm). Wide wavelength range. Optical power meter is used to measure the power output of fiber optic equipment, as well as the power or loss of an optical signal transmitted over a fiber optic cable.
As a visual fault locator(VFL), 1mW, features continuity test and breakpoint location. This device has a high accuracy in its measurements.
It has a total of 5 events: optical fiber start, reflection, attenuation, gain and optical fiber end. It is also capable of analyzing the waveform.
It allows internal data storage via SD card. Its 3.2" LCD display, with ten levels of backlight adjustment. Its 2400mAh 3.7V Lithium battery is rechargeable via USB-C port, allowing you to work wirelessly without cables (charger not included).
The reflectometer has power saving function, which turns off the display illumination if no operation is performed and auto power off.
