Ventilation Unit for 19" Rack Cabinet with 2 Fans by Gtlan
This device is an accessory that we will place in a 19" rack cabinet to maintain proper airflow inside the cabinet or server rack.
The main function of the ventilation unit is to avoid overheating, since the equipment installed in the rack cabinet generates heat when operating continuously. Having adequate ventilation will help to dissipate that heat avoiding equipment failures.
On the other hand, by keeping the devices at a suitable temperature, we will extend the life of our devices and reduce their energy consumption as the devices will not need to work as hard to cool themselves.
The unit consists of two 12cm fans with grille and has dimensions of 408x108x44mm. It is fixed to the rack cabinet with screws in a very simple way and is made of metal, black plastic and copper wiring.
