Device that allows to regenerate the Duox signal in both directions, isolate sections of the installation, as well as extend distances and terminal capacity. Input and outputs are isolated, against short circuits, load and signal reflections.
It has 1 Entrance and 2 Exits. By having 2 outputs allows to increase the number of isolated trunks. It requires a power supply (does not need a filter) and allows up to 20 terminals per output (40 in total with source 4830).
DIN-10 rail format for easy installation inside a box of electrical equipment, or can be screwed directly on the wall.
The Duox 3253 regenerator allows to extend distances and terminal capacity.
What technical characteristics does the Duox 3253 regenerator have?
The connection of this device can be made in 2 ways:
Power mode only trunks: in this case the power reaches each of the trunks.
Trunk + plate power mode: in this case the power supply reaches each of the trunk and also the street panels (for the case where the street panel does not have local power supply).
Food: 18 Vdc
Consumption only trunk modes:
Rest: 130mA
Call: 135 mA.
Consumption mode trunks + plates:
Rest: 140mA
Call: 145 mA.
Operating temperature: -5ºC to 40ºC
Minimum input data signal (without ripple): 1 Vp
Maximum 5 units in cascade.
If the diverter module does not incorporate a power supply, the terminal limit no longer depends on the power supply of the shunt and is determined by the voltage drop. In the worst case of operation, the last terminal connected to that trunk must reach at least 15V and this depends on the wiring and the telephone load supported.
The maximum load of direct current during trunk starting is 1A.
Dimensions DIN 10: 175x 90 x60 mm
What is the Duox 3253 regenerator used for?
The 3253 regenerator can extend distances, increase number of terminals, isolate segments of the installation, isolate cable section changes in the same segment and also increase the number of trunks in a facility.
