Balun with RJ45 Video and Power Connection from Safire (Pack 2)
Safire Passive Balun with RJ45 1 CH Video and Power Connection
A balun is a device used in CCTV surveillance systems to connect cameras and recorders. It allows the video signal to travel through network cables instead of traditional video cables, which is much more useful as network cables are cheaper and easier to install over long distances.
The balun will adapt the network cable to the video so that it can be transmitted over the internet cable to the camera or recorder. It comes in pack of 2, to place one at each end of the UTP cable (splitter and injector).
The BA621P-HAC is a passive balun used to transmit video and power from high definition cameras over network cables. It works with video signals such as HDTVI, HDCVI, AHD and CVBS(4 in 1). It has 2 RJ45 connectors (for network cable), BNC (for video) and a power connector via jack.
It includes surge and shock protection, helping to keep the signal clear and stable, plus an anti-static design with exceptional noise rejection.
It can have a range of up to 200 meters for 1080p video. Here is a list of the ranges according to the technology:
- HDTVI 720p - 200 m
- HDTVI 1080p - 200 m
