With this FRANSAT card you can receive on your TV, with your Fransat receiver, all the free channels of the French digital terrestrial television with 4 years subscription. In addition to the national DTT offer, you can watch a large number of local and thematic television channels, as well as radio stations.
If your TV is compatible, you will not need any additional receivers to watch French television directly on your TV, but if it is not, you will need a Fransat receiver such as Strong's SRT 7405 or THS805 de Thomson to insert this card and enjoy French television in your home.
What antenna do I need to watch French television on Fransat?
To tune French television through Fransat we need a satellite dish oriented to the Eutelsat 5ºw satellite. With a 60 cm diameter antenna it works, but in TDTprofessional we recommend an 80 cm diameter satellite dish, because in some areas the reception of the channels with a 60cm antenna may have problems.
Which receiver is compatible with Fransat?
In order to use a Fransat card, we need a receiver that works with this same platform, we recommend Strong SRT7405 receiver or the THS805 de Thomson.
Do you have a FRANSAT card and it doesn't work for you?
On July 10, 2017 FRANSAT has been gradually replacing the first generation of PC4.0 access cards, therefore, you may not be able to watch French channels.
This only affects PC4.0 cards. If your card is one of these, you will have to purchase a new FRANSAT card.
The FRANSAT card we currently have is the latest generation PC6.
