GTAN Singlemode SC/UPC Simplex Fiber Optic Fiber Optic Adapter

We use this type of adapters when we need to lengthen the fiber optic connection without increasing the insertion loss. The adapter is simplex and SC/UPC type, where the alignment of the ferric part is perfectly adjusted giving greater precision in the union.

The connectors of this type are placed in the empty panels of the rack that have to be simplex, being perfectly coupled, thanks to the tabs that the adapter has incorporated. The cable is inserted from the panel on one side and on the other side we can connect a preconnectorized cable, making the work much easier, being neater and cleaner.

The connector is blue plastic and is female at both ends.
