¿Doorbell or Video Doorbell?

Video door entry systems allow us to see who is at the door through a screen, being able to identify visitors before opening the door.

The 2-WIRE systems use only one 2-wire cable for audio and video transmission between the door entry system and the monitor. They are very easy to install and are also highly efficient in terms of energy consumption, since the two wires are used both for powering the devices and for data transmission.
The IP system offers superior image quality and is based on data networks, it connects to the Internet via UTP CAT6 wired connection. It offers the possibility of remote access from mobile devices and integrates other security systems such as home automation, video surveillance cameras, concierge stations, barriers and switchboards.
Finally, the 5-WIRE systems, which are less and less used, do not have internet connection. These systems need 2 wires for video and 3 wires for audio and control. They can be assembled with 3 Wires + Coaxial, whose live and mesh count as 2 wires for video, with 5 Wires cabling, or taking advantage of 5 of the 8 wires that a UTP cable has.
ELECTRONIC DOORBELL
There are two main types: 2 Hilos y 4 + N
The 2-WIRE system for audio door entry systems, has the same wiring as the video door entry systems, facilitating the combination between door entry systems and video door entry systems in the same installation at a reduced cost.
The 4 + N system is analogical and can be found in older buildings.
It requires 4 common wires (audio and video) + N number of wires for each house. For example: A kit for 10 dwellings needs 4 common wires + 10 wires. Total 14 wires.
