Multiswitch in Cascade 5Ex8S Sat/Terr of Amplantena
Ampliantena AMP764 Cascading Multiswitch with 5 Inputs and 8 Outputs
This Ampliantena multiswitch has 5 inputs (4 are satellite and 1 is terrestrial), being able to manage the 4 polarities of a complete satellite. In the output we find 8 outputs that will mix the satellite signals with the terrestrial one to distribute it to the users. It can be used in large communities or in small installations.
The multiswitch works as follows: a multiswitch works as a matrix, so that it redirects to each house the input signal demanded at each moment. The receiver, depending on the TV channel selected by the user, will send a voltage through the coaxial cable for polarization (14Vdc for vertical and 18Vdc for horizontal) and a tone for the band (0KHz for low and 22KHz for high). The AMP742 will be able to manage a complete satellite (H/L, H/H, V/L, V/H).
In case we need to expand the multiswitch capacity we can connect them in cascade, with a simple male-to-male F connector. This way we will increase the number of outputs of our device.
The multiswitch allows each home to have access to the radio signal, DTT and all satellite polarities, without having to install a satellite dish per user.
This device needs a 12V and 1.5A power supply to work, in our website you can find this compatible power supply ALI2A, as it is not included with the multiswitch.
