This device is a multi-sensor that works through the Z-Wave protocol. Among its functions it integrates: motion detection, temperature measurement and light intensity. In addition, the sensor has an accelerometer that detects any manipulation of the device.
It is battery powered to be installed quickly and easily on any surface and without any prior knowledge. The LED indicator signals motion, measures temperature, operating mode and even indicates if the device is within the Z-Wave network.
It can be used to illuminate scenes and presence control systems. Ideally, the device should be installed at the corner of the room or perpendicular to the doors at a suspension height of less than 2 meters.
The Motion-Control is fully compatible with devices certified with the Z-Wave Plus protocol. Z-Wave is an international wireless protocol for smart home communication. It ensures reliable communication by reconfirming each message over two communication paths and each node powered by the power grid can act as a repeater for other nodes.
